Funding Priorities

For 2010, the REACH Foundation will continue to fund projects in the areas of oral health, mental health and safety net services. The Foundation will accept proposals for projects that benefit poor and medically underserved residents of Allen, Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas; Kansas City, Missouri, and Cass, Lafayette and Jackson Counties in Missouri. For the 2010 Focused Grant cycles, the Foundation is introducing a framework developed in 2009 by the Board of Directors that describes the long-term goal for the Foundation’s work and desired outcomes in our oral health, mental health and safety net health services priority areas. Titled, "Road Map to Success,” this document states the primary outcomes we hope to achieve in each funding area; intermediate outcomes that we believe must be in place in order to reach our goals and vision; and indicators that can be used to measure success through the programs and initiatives we support.
